Galileo Training Services online
....... the 1 stop shop for all your training needs!
From 18tj June you will be able to manage all your Galileo Training bookings online including e-learning, Classroom training and Virtual Classroom. This new service from Galileo Training Services allows you to see all the courses available, the dates and locations they are running. You can make your bookings and get an instant confirmation back; if the course is full you will be added to a waiting list which will automatically advise you if a space becomes available.
Unable to attend? …no need to pick up the phone anymore simply sign into your account and find your course and cancel the registration, you will be advised if any cancellation fees apply.
How to apply to use this service:-
If you have signed up to our e-Learning courses then you can start using this service straight away by using your e-learning PIN number with your PCC however you will need to access the new Galileo Training Services Portal URL at:- http://support.galileo.com/SGC/LMS/
If you have not used the e-Learning before you will be required to register for this service for which you will need a PIN and a valid Pseudo City Code. To obtain you PIN send an email to customer.education@galileo.com with the words “PIN Application for booking online” in the subject line of your e-mail.
Once you have your PIN go to the Galileo Training Services Portal.

Galileo has been in partnership with Hewlett Packard since May 2005. HP delivers Galileo courses at its main training centres in London, Manchester, Reading and Glasgow as well as at customers’ sites throughout the UK and many sites across Europe, Africa & Middle East.

Galileo e-Learning
On June 1st 2005 Galileo launched e-Learning to the UK Market since then over 1600 users have registered for this service and over 7000 courses have been registered for. The course content has grown with over 30 courses now available with more being added all the time.
It allows users to learn Galileo at their own pace and is completely free. It is ideally suited as a starting base for new users and those returning to work or simply as a reminder on how to do something. Most of the courses take approximately 40 minutes to an hour to complete.
Features of e-Learning
The system will automatically bookmark the point at which you finished your last course, allowing you to re-commence your session from where you left off.
The system will evaluate your performance in each module, and log your evaluation result.
To register for this service you will need a PIN. Please send an e-mail containing your Pseudo City Code to: customer.education@galileo.com with the words “Galileo e-learning pin application” in the subject line of your e-mail.
Once you have your PIN, go to the Galileo Training Services portal at http://support.galileo.com/SGC/LMS/
You will need to register the first time you enter the site, but after that you will automatically go to the home page where you can select the course you want to study. You will also be able to book any Classroom or Virtual Classroom course from this site as well.
