>> ITS OFFICIAL: TRAVELPORT E-PRICING™ FINDS THE LOWEST FARES WORLDWIDE!

New Topaz Study Confirms ePricing™ leads the travel industry

A survey by Topaz International has revealed that Travelport e-Pricing on Worldspan finds the lowest fares more often than any of our competitors, generating an average saving of $68 per ticket. The survey, which monitored the performance of four of the most prominent low-fare shopping tools, concluded that e-Pricing found the best rates nearly 60 percent of the time, and was overall 9.4% lower in price than rival products.

This great news has been released to the media this week, and it’s now time to start telling customers that our low fares are officially leading the market. The survey was conducted in December 2008 and monitored the top 500 domestic and international fares across Asia Pacific, EMEA, North America and Latin America.

The survey found that e-Pricing delivers the lowest available fares four times more often than the product powering the Amadeus GDS, and twice as often as ITA Software and the Sabre GDS tool. When comparing the average ticket price overall, e-Pricing is streets ahead, offering $111.51 in savings compared to Amadeus, $48.88 compared to ITA and $44 compared to Sabre.

“This is the latest and most accurate benchmarking data available on low-fare search technology, and it reflects the performance of Travelport e-Pricing”, said Armin Meier, chief commercial officer for Travelport GDS. “These results clearly confirm that e-Pricing is the global market leader in low-fare shopping technology.”

This year, Travelport’s Galileo and Apollo customers will also gain access to our e-Pricing product which has been enjoyed by Worldspan customers for several years. Customer Testimonial for ClickPoint

ClickPoint is a fantastic product which is helping us to make more bookings.  We really like being able to view seat availability in all classes on one screen.  The facility to book the outbound and inbound flights at the same time is really speeding up the booking process.  This means our reservations staff are able to complete the transaction more quickly allowing them to handle more calls and ultimately make more bookings.
